Dwight Neighbors and Students United Platform
I am running on a slate with Alder Frank Douglass, a retired Local 35 union member who is a longtime advocate for tenant rights, neighborhood safety, and better landlord practices. Grounded in racial and economic justice, our platform is based on New Haven Rising's thousands of canvassing conversations across the city.

Affordable Housing
We need housing that is safe and accessible for both residents and students. I will also support the growth of tenants unions.

Good Union Jobs
I know the union difference can be the bedrock for multigenerational economic security for our neighbors.

Education
As the child of a union public school teacher, I am ready to fight federal attacks on public education alongside teachers, librarians, and young students.

Youth Opportunities
I want to support more youth resources that are accessible to working families. Investment in New Haven's youth is investment in our future.

Fully Funded City
Meaningful progress towards an equitable city will only be possible with strong support from the state and major employers like Yale, given the strain on our local tax base.

Student Engagement
As an organizer and DTC co-chair, I talked to hundreds of students about the class divides impacting their engagement on and off campus. Yale must improve financial support for working students.
